How do you guys think it compares to the new CRKT sharpener that includes an edge to spliting heavy duty stuff?

The CRKT sharpener design doesn't have any method for maintaining an approximately consistent sharpening angle. It's basically not much different than any of the many small diamond hones available. The duckfoot sharpener design (as with the triangle sharpmaker) promotes a consistent sharpening angle - a benefit (IMHO) over the CRKT design.

I guess i just like the idea of having an extra chopping edge for heavy duty stuff. I have to say its not that thick though. The CRKT sharpener is only
