Spyderco Dyad's

Here is my collection. Unfortunally I have to sell them. They will be going on the exchange shortly :(

Not sure if I am the only one but I love Dyad's. They have to be my favorite Spyderco's. I actually sold my first Spyderco. It was a micro dyad in black Pearl. I regretted it as soon as I dropped it off at the post office. I contacted the buyer a month later and I was able to buy it back. I now added a gray large dyad to my collection. Now I need to find a JR but they are hard to find. Does anyone love these as much as me ? And If anyone has a lead on a jr I would appreciate if you could let me know.

The answer to your question is a firm and resounding YES!!! Especially the big C-44 Dyad which I do carry and EDC from time to time. I've yet to snag one of the Gray VG-10 models but it is next on my list to get of all the Spyders in the universe. If you like the C-39 Dyad Jr. models then I encourage you to seek out one of the early Micarta handled versions of the C-39 Dyad Jr.>> you talk about regrets when I sold my Micarta Dyad Jr. I was depressed for about a month over that bad decision.

By having a full sized Sheepsfoot Spyderedged blade along with a very streamlined clip point blade you just can't go wrong. As far as I know it's Spyderco's only double bladed folder but what a masterpiece it is>> and an IN HOUSE design at that!!

Right now my two all time favorite Spyderco folders are the C-44 Dyad and the C-60 Ayoob models. But I have at least 2 dozen more that are running a close second to those two.

Brother I know what you mean about being super intrigued with the Dyad because the first time I carried/EDCed one I knew it as truly a powerhouse folder that left little to be desired. I'm hoping that someday we can talk Sal Glesser ( Spyderco's CEO and owner) to consider doing an H-1 Salt Dyad.

I wouldn't even mind if they did a Hawkbill Dyad just for something different. But YES!! The Dyad (especially the big one) is very high on my all time favorite folder list.

Salt H1 Hawkbill Dyad the size of a Jr. would be primo!

Imagine a Dyad with mixed blade steels.
Maybe H1 SE hawkbill and an LC200N PE FFG together!
Ultimasalt! :D

I saw just today in a local shop a used mini micarta dyad for $50

A ZDP-189 michael walker followed me home but Y'all have me wanting to go back and pick it up and try it with all these pics. Should I or shouldn't I for that price? I don't know much about these except they look cool

$50 for about any Micarta Spydie sounds like a solid deal to me! :)

I might ride by and take another look at it tomorrow :)

Looking at the pics on here again I believe it's actually a junior. They have it marked as a mini but the blade shape looks more like the middle sized ones on here

The black micarta dyad I am keeping the rest are for sale or already gone.

I'm going to renew my Gold Membership tomorrow seriously>> so when you see I'm renewed send me a PM and I'll talk to you. I'm curious as to why you don't have one of the big C-44 Dyads in ATS-55>> are they getting that tough to find now a days?

Also did you ever get either the Burgundy and/or green Dyad Junior? Those babies are getting super rare and I haven't seen one since I sold the two I had. The Dyad is a great user blade/folder. Because I can't tell you how many times during the week I need a serrated blade for all kinds of cutting jobs and the big Dyad gives you everything you need.
