spyderco EDC Recommendations wanted

I would suggest anything from the Caly line (Caly 3 G10 is my current favourite EDC), and the Delica 4 is simplicity at its best.

Personally I love the choil so you can choke right up on the blade. This give you the most control over the blade whilst also giving a bit more security against the blade lock failing. If your finger is in the choil the blade cannot really close on your fingers cos you finger will stop the closing action.

Also look at mini Persian for some micarta and s/s bolster porn :D
Awesome slicer too :p

Wow, I can't believe how many responses I've gotten on this.

Thanks.

I think I am going to start off with a Centofante 3 because of its size to weight/thinness ratio.

I also think I will wind up buying additional knives.

For EDC outside of the house i will use the Centofante.

For around the house I could use something a litter bigger and heavier. For that I am leaning toward the Endura 4. I like the screw construction.

I will post my impressions of the knife after I get it.

Good choice! I love the Centofante 3. It's going to start a habit--trust me on that. As far as a true gentleman's folder, check out the Kopa or Kiwi offerings. They are such that you only want to take 'em to church and maybe open a letter or two, but otherwise just fondle and admire them.

I received my Centofante3 the other day.

I love the hole.

It is very light weight.

I am a little disappointed the size of the handle. I was hoping that it would be a little thinner and shorter. Maybe it is because I am so used to my Leek that a normal sized handle seems big.

This will make a good EDC/general/utility purpose knife. Especially now that spring is coming and I will be doing a lot more yard work.

The vendor that I ordered it from also included a little dispenser containing a few bandages. "You're Gonna Need 'em" was printed across the top. I though this was a bit funny. I did find the bandages useful. This knife is really sharp.

Everyone, Thanks for your input.

congrats on the Centofante3 mikemock  yeah if you're used to the Leek's size the handle of the C3 is much thicker ;) but the knife is tougher than it looks, i pried with one once and thought i'd break it ...it withstood a lot of force, still has zero bladeplay....enjoy it :)

That vendor is no secret around here. New Graham is one of the best, and congrats on that knife. I wish more models had that inlaid spyder.
