Spyderco Endura 4

I have five Enduras, and just got the fifth one today, a stainless first generation. Amazing knives, and great values for the money. I've owned a total of eight, and they've all served well.

I love my FFG Endura in VG10. It's a great slicer, and is a great knife for both the price and the weight. It's the only blade I own that has that much reach but is still so slim and lightweight that there is no reason not to carry it. Excellent choice, I'm sure you'll be pleased.

I have grown to apreciate real knifes trough hard use and my E3 with full serrations helped me to do it. I have used it for 3 years day in day out at work (fish farm) in salt water and man it has cut lot's of nylon rope and I mean lot's of that stuff. VG10 the only thing that needed was just a litle bit of oil every once and a while but it seems that cuting my sandwich which most often had olive oil did the job just fine and until my brother send it for a dive at 60+ meters from where it never came back I didn't see piting at any time just some surface rust that rubed off right away

Since then I've had more than 100 real folders (bm's, kai's, LW, etc)between them there are an E4 black FRN, an E4 foliage green FRN with wave opener, an E4 british green FRN with ZDP 189 blade, an E4 foliage green G10 FFG, and an E4 blue FRN FFG

thanks for all the great feed back guys. got the knife in the mail yesterday, was like a kid at christmas when the ups man showed up. had it delivered to work so couldnt play with it too much till i got home. broke it in for the better part of the evening, opens with a simple flick of the wrist now. razor sharp right out of the box, touched it up a little when i got home. love the feel of the handle, can really get a good grip on it. and though i havent put it to tough use yet the vg-10 looks like a top notch steel. going backpacking tommorow and its gonna be on my hip the whole time so i should be able to get a better feel for what it can do this weekend. hopefully will be posting more soon, as i think i have caught the knife bug. will purchase more spyders without hesitation. any reccomendations on any of there other products? got my eye on the millitary right now.

Great knife, as a matter of fact the endura 4 in vg-10 I like and trust enough to let it serve as my duty folder. The only other blade I ever carry on duty that folds are a sak soldier or a spirit Swiss tool. Any other blade is a fixed.

any spyderco you buy will be high quality.

the military is one of my most carried knives. i like it even better than the endura.

ive wanted an endura for a long time and have only heard good things, especially the ones with the vg-10 blade steel, congrats on the new knife

It's a great knife. Large and with a large handle. Very easy to open.

Depending on how smooth it opens, you might want to clean it with water and dishwasher soap, shake it to get the water out and when it's dry apply a (very) little drop of clear oil.

I had a Delica in my hand and I couldn't resist, there's one on the way!
VG-10 Full Flat Grind, it was so light and well constructed I had to order one...

For sure a classic Spyderco - nor love for the SS lined G-10 here? I love it - my mini-police 3.

I want to get an FRN for my brother who is a fisherman and uplands bird hunter. Light and up to any tasks he should encounter.

He's a NNP and hasn't owned anything but $10-$15 clunkers which he ends up not using. I'm betting he'll carry his Endura 4. :)
