Spyderco Endura4 Wave or Delica4 Wave?

[...]unless you are trying to actually kill someone (I was not) then the ability to move it fast and get it out fast are more important than size IMHO.

As you point out, in a SD situation you are not trying to kill anyone, but simply trying to stop your attacker and get away (as you rightly did). This is a very important point.

Well, in relation to the original question, this is very relevant to the OP - between the E4W and the D4W, which is faster to deploy?

[...] so the wave feature has kept bugging me today and prevented me from pulling the trigger on the D4 rather than the D4W or E4W.

If it's a cool feature that you want, just get the wave (all SD talk aside). It is cool. :D:thumbup:

Haha, I WILL indeed be getting them all eventually anyway :D. Why not; i can get the "fun" version first and downgrade for practical use later. Even if I do go with the D4, i can just use the zip tie trick to turn it into a de facto emerson opener.

Sounds like most replying to this thread believe the E4W deploys faster or with less effort than the D4W.

Just ordered the PE delica 4 wave today. I thought "why not" :D Next spydie will be the CE endura 4 wave :)

Next knife, however, is going to be ZT200 or ZT300 :D

Thanks everyone for the help :)

Excellent choice on the PE delica 4 wave (same as mine), you'll really enjoy it. It's not hard to wave at all ;)

Great knife.
