I live near Denver and want to go to the Spyderco factory. Do they have a "showroom" where you can fondle the different designs and handle materials? Do they have blems, seconds, closeouts for sale locally? Thanks..

Yes and yes.

Haven't been there myself, but they do have a showroom/sales area where you can fondle the current models and closeouts (when they have them) and purchase them if you wish. They also have a museum/display area where you can view some of the older stuff and some special "one off" pieces. Think seconds/blems are only sold there once a year at the annual sale, which was held last month.

Yes, the factory outlet store has a very nice show room. It's just NW of Golden on highway 93 & Spyderco Blvd. The clerks are very helpful and knowlegeable. They sell for 25% off MSRP.

Yes / No, they sell seconds once a year. The sell is usually late November. They announce the sell on the forum at www.spyderco.com. Get there early.
