Hi guys!

Whenever I'm on BladeForums, I notice a lot of my fellow knife enthusiasts are from my own area, the Buckeye state. I thought it might be cool to start a group here on BladeForums, and maybe eventually host a meet-and-greet and swap knife tips and show off our collections in person.

First, I just wanted to see who was around! The first Buckeye State Spyderco Constituents roll call, if you will.

Wade from Bucyrus, OH. My collection is extensive, but I EDC a Military.

If you'd like to join the call, where do you hail from, how is your collection progressing, and what do you like to carry?

God bless and go Buckeyes!

KATN,

Wade

Jeff from cleveland. Delicas, enduras, Tenascious. etc, etc

Seem to use them all for a goto knife whenever I really need a good knife with a strong edge. The only serrated knives I can sharpen well

I'm close, MI is only a couple hours away.

Course I'd be fully decked out in U of M gear, so I might not be so welcome.

Near Akron. We should have a meet up and show off our favorites from our collection.

Doug in Lancaster.

Currently with out a Spydie. Looking to pickup a new Endura 4.

In the past a Police, Endura, Delica, Remote Release and Snap-It.

I'm up in Findlay...

ahhh Bucyrus, I used to spend a lot of time down there in the ALLTEL booth in walmart back in the day. (99-01)

lately I've been carrying a mix of spydie and BM stuff...

ukpk without clip in my rfp as my user/whatever (just got it at NGK)
BM 722 Tanto axis clipped rfp (picked up in a trade, first axis, nice stuff)
Baliyo in a little makeshift paracord lanyard around my neck (love it, broke the clip and the plastic around one of the holes, but it's still great stuff, looking to pick up a couple more)
sometimes my new jigged bone micro dyad in the coin pocket (off EBAY)
clipped left pocket is the BM SD Pen (picked up off the bay as well)

along with my novatac 120e (recently broke the clip, so no clip on that) lfp with my wharcomm with clear picture scale as my money clip

rfp also has house keys with SOG micron knife and fenix E01...

During work, the 722 is replaced by a SE Tenacious...

There's other stuff, it varies. Once the newness of those all wears off, it will be one or more of these.... UKPK (clipped or clippless, depending on how I feel), D4W (polished clip and tritium inserts in the handles, although 2 of 3 have broken over the last 2 years), Gen 1 Endura (broken frn clip, metal one attached at spydie factory), Emerson Combat KBIT (just received in trade, great knife, even if the ring is too small for my pointer finger)....

My collection stays small, no money to keep them all so I get knives, I trade knives to try others. Traded my Caly 3 and a Byrd Robin to get the Kbit, sold a Leek to buy the UKPK, traded my Paramillie for the 722...

what can I say, I am never satisified. Although the Endura has been with me for probably 15 years. and the D4W since they came out.

I'm right outside of Cincinnati. Still trying to make a Pacific Salt rust since they were first introduced - no luck. Also tend to carry any one, two or three of the following: grey Matriarch, Harpy, Military, FB04, Bagwell Bowie.

I'm in Streetsboro, and regularly EDC my Caly3, along with several other makers knives.

Amen to that. I spent all summer up at Lake Erie trying to get a little speck of rust on the blade, and no luck. :D

Prior to the Pacific's intro, my main chore knife was a Harpy, either all steel or G-10, but when they said it was "rustproof", and I had to see for myself. Usually carried IWB next to my skin. What's it been, about 4 or so years now? Still no rust. The others are all "social workers".

I'm about a 1/2 hr North of Dayton. I EDC one (or two) of about 10 of my USER Endura's. My first, favorite Spydie.

I've carried my Pacific Salt in my swim trunks, attached to various PFDs (Personal Floatation devices are different for me, as different ones are required for both the 16-foot Zodiac rigid hull inflatable and 26-foot Ocean Express offshore raceboat my dad and I race together), and inside the waistband of my shorts when I do my weekly 8-mile run at the local reservoir. With all this exposure to sweat and moisture, I'm impressed.

Jake Bauer - Go Bucks!

And Lockheed - Bucyrus is the Bratwurst Capital of the World, not sausage. :D Sausage sounds close to a weiner, which some of the more immature people here on the forums might take the wrong way!;)

Also nearabouts to Akron/Canton.

Man, I've got to get me something made with H1! If and when I buy another knife, it'll be either a Salt or a mini-grip.

Go BUCKS!!
