Nice knife! How do you like the tip? I'm not generally a fan of upswept tips, but I might have to make an exception here...

It's a great all purpose blade shape, works very well. :)

Well, well, well! Wish I was illuminati too!

That's awesome! Enjoy it man, and post more pics if you can. It's gorgeous.

Here are some more, right out of box. :)

I've been waiting since April to see some more pics of this badboy. Thanks Jim!
God dangit, I know I'm gonna have to pick one of these up, like for certain now. On the one hand; thank you. On the other hand, Damn you Ankerson!! :p

Wow! Gorgeous!!!

If ever I've seen a blade dead center when closed....that would be the one. That thing looks rock solid.

Sodak, I don't see it as having a up swept tip. Just looking at it. What gives it that elusion is Spyderco traditional hole in the blade. That creates a need for a hump. If you removed most of this hump, straightening the spine it would become almost a trailing point. Giving it a very different look. DM

Thanks. That is a beast! A little heavy for me. Maybe Spyderco will release a mini version with a 3.5". Blade and under 5 oz.

It feels much lighter than it is due to the great balance. :)

6.2 oz isn't bad at all, the Ti Military is 5.9 oz....

Sal's custom K2 and the 10v production version, this custom K2 is the very first generation which means it has alot more curve on top of the blade, the profile of the blade right now is the same as the REX K2 which has alot less curve on the top.

Awesome knife Farid! I'm curious, is there any particular reason the production version didn't have an option to carry tip up?

I have made only a very few tip up, it is a large blade and I felt the 'D' tent would have to be very 'strong' to hold the blade in safely when inside a pocket, also if I made the spring stronger in order to have a stronger 'D' tent the lock would not function the way I feel it should, there are more than just one thing to consider. You take care. Farid
