Thanks for the explanation. I also hope you can devise a way to provide for a tip up clip option on the smaller version.I have made only a very few tip up, it is a large blade and I felt the 'D' tent would have to be very 'strong' to hold the blade in safely when inside a pocket, also if I made the spring stronger in order to have a stronger 'D' tent the lock would not function the way I feel it should, there are more than just one thing to consider. I see what you are saying David, thanks. I think you're right. This knife has gotten my attention!Sodak, I don't see it as having a up swept tip. Just looking at it. What gives it that elusion is Spyderco traditional hole in the blade. That creates a need for a hump. If you removed most of this hump, straightening the spine it would become almost a trailing point. Giving it a very different look. DM

Farid, will the smaller blade be in 10V as well? I like this knife, but I gravitate toward smaller folders personally.
