Found these two beauties in a local knife shop brand new !!! The have been sitting in a glass case getting ignored by consumers of 10 dollar fleamarket knives in the next case over for almost 15 years !! Lucky me :D

Spyderco Centofante 2 C50gs and Khalsa C40s !!!!

Thanks !!! These two are pretty rare and onlyade for about 2 years each in the 90's ! Does anyone know about how many of each were produced ? Spydiewiki has no info on either ...

Is the bug on the cento gold or silver?

That is why I asked. Anyways nice score!

Both are brand new and still had 90's prices on them lol !!! This store is still full of new old stock spydies and benchmades but I ran Outta money lol!!

The Khalsa C40s is clearly a fake and worth nothing! You should send it to me for testing :). Seriously...nice score and great knives.

I did the same thing a while back. Looking through a small gun shop I found a Spydie Q, and a Rodeo Q, both new in boxes priced at $24.95. I find old Spydercos setting around in gun shops quite often; I think it has something to do with the serrations, most folks seem to be turned off by them and prefer plain blades.

That Centofante C-50 is one of my all time favorite Spyders. I hope one dey to get either a Spyderedge or plain edge C-50 for EDC. Hopefully maybe a sprint run will be coming down the pipeline.

Those ATS-34, Golden CO USA Earth Spyders ought to be getting a lot of collector appeal at this point. I've had several of those Jot Khalsa models and even though they are intriging to look at I really didn't like carrying them. But for it's time it was a superb piece. That C-50 so much reminds me of the Benchmade Boguszewski Spike ( my all time favorite Non Spyder) and it is a very practical, multi-use blade,

You got my "envy meter" going off the wall>> nice find!!

The c50 is really a sweet knife , and from what I understand it's one of the first models made at the Golden Colorado factory !! That alone makes it really special in my book !!! If I decide to part with it I'll give you a heads up !!!

Congrats on a super score. I keep hoping that some day, if I happen to stumble upon a nice set of NIB blades I will hav the cash to snap them up. Love that Centofante.
