I have a Spyderco Jess Horn PE I bought used a little while ago; it's in excellent shape with box. Spyderco gold logo on the clip is without any scratches, so I consider it to be basically LNIB. I also have a MeerKat S-shape PE that's LNIB.

I am looking for Case or Queen slipjoints (stockmans or similar), or a Victorinox Super Tinker.

Thanks

I have a good condition Victorinox swisschamp with pliers, pen etc. to trade for the horn.

Thanks, but that looks to be too heavy - I don't want to carry all that extra stuff...Thanks for the offer, though :)

I'm widening my area of interest :) I'm also interested in any
PE Delicas, FRN, scratches/wear OK, no box OK too

Of course, LNIB would be nice :D , but I want to make a move,
so.......

Thanks

My advice is to hang on to the Spydie Horn. It is one sweet knife. Well thought out and made to cut cut and cut. The only "weak" area is the fact that the clip screws tap directly into the micarta, so be careful not to strip them out while attempting to tighten them up. Besides, the Horn is getting fairly scarce. I wouldn't even think of parting with mine (the serrated version). You'll regret it if you swap it off, trust me. You won't find a Case or a Queen that can cut along side the Horn. In fact, there's just no comparison.

Carry and use the Horn for three weeks. Just give it a chance. What's twenty one days? I dare ya. Double DOG dare ya... :p

Hey Harry (I like that alias - watched the original movie yesterday :D ) . Yes, the Jess Horn is a sweet knife. I ended up carrying it all week on vacation, but it just doesn't do it for me. The false edge on the top makes it too much like a pig sticker to me. NOT that I care so much, but the sheeple I am around seem to react that way, so it doesn't work for me.

By comparison, no one has ever raised an eyebrow when I've used my Delica or my Dragonfly....so......anyone want to trade the Jess Horn for either of those? I like Case slippies, too. I've whittled a few OK - looking roosters with Case slippies... :)

Is it micarta? How about a NIB Mayo Northshore?

Sorry - I should have been more specific. The Jess Horn is a
FRN PE. Very much LNIB, except the box isn't perfect...but
the knife pretty much is. No visible marks; gold Spyder on
the clip is untouched.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not interested in liner locks (i.e.
the Mayo). Lockbacks or Case slipjoints are my preference :)

You have your email feature disabled. Please send me an email at (email address removed, no longer needed on this thread) so we can discuss a possible trade. Thanks.

Hi Harry,

I sent email to you yesterday. Please post here to let me know if it didn't arrive (?)

Hi Harry,

Sent you email about 5 mins ago - thought maybe if you were looking through this forum now (Wed 8:05 PM EDT), it would be the quickest way to point you toward that email...

Hi. Thanks for the headzup. I just read the email. No problemo on the box snafu. Cheers.
