Spyderco G-10 Police

I've got a predicament: I have a g-10 police model that has noticeable vertical play. I was wondering, does the g-10 police model (lockback) have an eccentric pivot like their liner locks and can you adjust the lockback like you can a liner lock? Thanks!

Have you thought about sending it back to spyderco for adjustment ? call their customer service and ask them for any advise ?

i have the same thing with my stainless steel Police, and i've heard it cannot be corrected once it has developed vertical blade play. makes sense actually because it's always caused by excessive friction between the tang and locker bar. i think the G10-version has the exact same lock and pivot as a regulaer Police.

other than trying to get it swapped by Spyderco, there's no solution for the problem other than to live with it.

No eccentric pivot in my G-10 Police. No vertical play in it either.
Send it in.
I've heard many good things about Spyderco's customer service and little, if any, bad.
Contact them and get the problem fixed.
You shouldn't have to carry a knife your uneasy about.
