Being one of best Spyderco knives ever, does anybody thinks about a sprint run with G-10 handles and maybe M390 steel on Spyderco Gayle Bradley.I was also thinking about Caly 3 with screw down construction and full zdp-189 blade.Wishfull thinking but that would be my perfect combo. What do you people think.:)

I'd keep it as is but with M390 or CTS 204P in places where rust may become an issue with CPM M4. The only issue I have with the Bradley is the weight of those thick steel liners. I think shaving an ounce or so off of the 5.5 ounce weight will do wonders. As is, my favorite non-flipper Spyderco. I have a new Caly 3.5 CF coming in and that may replace the Bradley due to its 3.1 ounce weight.

It is a great knife, just thought as other spyderco knives have so many sprint run editions why not do it with a great blade like Gayle Bradley. As far as weight goes I like it makes cutting easier, just slices through anything. My better half was using it for 3-4 hours cutting through anything she could find in the kitchen and was still sharp as hell, mind you she does not use kitchen knives anymore,GB cuts everything with such a ease it is incredible.

I'd definitely go in for an M390 version or something similar. And as much as I like the CF, I could totally see a G-10 version being appealing. It wouldn't look as "pretty" with the G-10, but it would really say "Hey, I'm a working knife...bring it on."

It pretty much is perfect for me the way it is, but cts 204p and titanium liners would be nice.

Would have to stay M4 for it to be a Gayle Bradley. Maybe a laminated M4 blade for coolness and rust issues any may have. Ti liners would be cool to reduce weight, but I love the size and robustness. If it were Ti, I would personally want a SS insert. I like the CF, it is great for work. Don't let the prettiness fool you. I would love to see a thicker gage wire clip, and less of the knife sticking out of the pocket. Really for me the only thing I really want to change is how much sticks out of the pocket.

I would love to see 13C26/AEB-L, at high hardness and with a deep quench, used in it as it is one of the steels Gayle Bradley uses in his custom knives.

How does it carry though? From what I hear, large and heavy folders don't go well with deep carry clips.

Carry is pretty decent for the most part, definitely better in jeans than in light pants or shorts. I did end up taking my GB apart and drilling some extra holes in the liners to save weight.

I think the Gayle Bradley is perfect for micarta scales. I know micarta gets smudged and dirty, but then again, doesn't the non-stainless M4? To me, they would break in together and in a few months look awesome. Not only that, but because the scales are just flat slaps screwed into the liners, the issue of micarta swelling and shrinking more than G10 (thereby making tight tolerances more difficult) wouldn't be that much of an issue.

I'am thinking stonewashed blade with jade ghost green g-10 scales.Think I might pimp mine up.:)

I want a Bradley Jr.

Spyderco Air by Gayle Bradley with titanium liners, 2.55" blade of CPM M4 steel and weighing in at just 1.3 ounces. It's marvelous with those titanium & glass fiber handles.

I'd prefer a Ti version but I'd like g10 too. As far as the blade goes, I LOVE the M4. Wouldn't change it for the world

I've got one and love it. It's part of my office/work carry rotation.

It's very dainty though. I'd like a beefy Bradley folder with a sub 3" blade because that's the biggest I can carry.

The Bradley Air is truly a Gentleman's Pocket knife that delivers.

A lot of times I'm limited to a 3" maximum blade length as well. A small beefy Bradley with a 3" blade but also needs to lighten up on those heavy steel liners. Say 4 ounces total weight tops.
