Selling as a pair...I'd rather not separate...
A pair of SOLO brand gentleman's knives manufactured in Seki City Japan in the 1990's for Sal Glesser (Spyderco)...
I need not remind you how rarely this come up on the block, but I will anyways--
Both knives favor the opener side when closed, not a bad thing IMHO, as it prevents rubbing against the liner side when opening right-handed...
The large SE gently rubs upon closing but it has left no marks on the blade thus far...
Lockup is late on both knives with the larger SE nearly touching the opener-side liner, however lock engagement is fully positive with a touch of blade wiggle as to be expected with Solo knives.
The smaller model has been sharpened to a mirror edge and has a small ding near the kick...The large SE model retains the factory edge...
The smaller of the two has superficial scratches on both blade faces from sharpening and use with a few random stain/pepper spots spread about ( some of what shows up in the provided pics is finger oil
)...
The larger blade is pretty much pristine...
Both models have UNCRACKED ( a rarity for these knives ) black Micarta handles with flush rivets-- no splitting around rivets, either.
The bolsters on both feature flush rivets and have small marks from storage and carry.
No boxes or additional stuff is included in this listing.
