I've never held or seen one of the Hap40 Spydercos , and I'm interested in knowing is that photo a good representation of the colour ?
I know from trying to photograph my own knives that the colour isn't always a true representation .

At the numbers? yes. At relative hardness between those blades I listed? No.

I have an M2 knife that the maker lists at 59-61, it's the softest of the ones I listed earlier, and it's slightly harder than my haps.

Quite close.
The next one he showed with Endura SB is closer. A bit darker with slightly more caramel tone.

This one by Rajan is closer. At least on my iPhone screen.

Hap40 is a bad steel. Don't waste your money. Stay away from it. Leave all the Delica 4 in hap40 for me. There are only a limited number of them avaliable in the world. Run away from it. Don't worry in a little time there will not be any avaliable for you to buy. It will not be a problem for you to avoid in the near future. Please avoid it. 🤓

Exactly. Terrible knives. I just have 4 out of 6 and I'm disgusted at the idea to get the 2 last POS in my collection. I lost a bet so I had to buy them all, but I really don't like them. HAP40 is glorified aluminium. Spyderco sprint runs are scams anyway, worse than subprimes. You won't get any money out of them if you resell them. Don't trust Ebay's prices, it's a den for smugglers. Stop buying knives, get a real hobby like collecting iPhones, this is where true money and passion are.

Come to think of it, I was wrong... avoid the CRAP40's at all opportunities.

I'm dead serious, horrible pieces. The orange is so unpractical. Yesterday I was distracted and picked up a knife instead of my measuring tape. Or vice versa. Truly terrible color.

Anyway, I will dispose FOR FREE of all your unwanted HAP40 series in Orange Burnt. Always glad to help
