So, I was re-watching The Punisher (2004). And I swear to you, one of the knives used is a spyderco. Look at about 24:30... It's the forward swept, fully serrated tasman salt black FRN... Of course... I could be crazy. Anyone seen/have the movie can verify that I have been up WAY too long looking at knives and watching movies?

I think the bug has bit me... I see spyderco knives everywhere. I spelled spider - spyder the other day... HELP ME!

He's also drinking Wild Turkey 101 proof. My drink of choice, TBH... In any event. I'm noticing that spydie hole in everything now that I own a spydie... Maybe the bad guys had somethin going? Still re-watching about halfway thru.

AH HAH! IT IS THERE IN PUNISHER! I'm not crazy!

Thanks for that

My first Spyderco, a fully serrated Delica 1 was purchased after I saw a Police model (I think) in the Stallone flick "Cliffhanger" back in '93. That was the first time I remember seeing a Spydie.

There is a thread on the Spyderco factory forum called Spyderco Sightings with a lot of tv and movie appearances listed. If I remember right, one of the bad guys in the fight at the beach house in The Punisher is using a Spyderco Civilian SE. The knife in Cliffhanger was an Endura SE, first generation I believe. The Police model was used in Training Day, Fight Club, The Avengers, the tv show "Life" and a bunch of other places. Ice Cube used a serrated Delica II in Anaconda. The list is long.

Thanks for clarifying. I always mix up which one it was (Police vs Endura) especially since it was a SS model. I'm more accustomed to the FRN Enduras.

You'd be surprised where Spydies pop up. I saw Adam Rich from Man vs. Food cut up some BBQ with a Military, as well as that girl from Food Wars doing the same with a Military as well.....I suppose that one can see where my mind is...Lol. :D

Serrated endura in The Last House on the Left. Bad guy uses it to stab one of the girls in the woods

I saw an older movie with the star from Without A Trace as the bad guy his blade of choice a Spyderco can't tell you the model. He deployed by holding onto the blade and snapping the handle down, love doing that with my spydies. Also a little more obscure, in the opening credits for The Pacific the artist sharpens his pencil with a small Byrd series knife.

Movie is The Client actor Anthony LaPaglia who plays Barry "The Blade" Muldano.

I remember the bad guy (Imotep in "The Mummy") had a fully serrated version of some Spyderco in one of those Jean Claude Van Dam movies. The one where they hunt convicts for sport. "Hard Target" maybe??

in this storage unit show i forgot the name of, the smaller guy used a serrated yellow frn serrated tasman salt to open a box

I have just reseen today the SAW V - silly movie btw - and in the scene when the good detective has its head in a cube - which is gonna be filled with water - , he desperately looks around and he can see its gun and folder on the table - it looks to be a SPYDERCO due to its hole -
