Picked up a Jess Horn in trade last night at the Chesapeake Bay Knife Club meeting. I'm not much for serrations anymore, this one has a combo edge, but I really like it. I usually carry Benchmades as my EDC's, use my Native at home for my beater, and use my Military when I'm hiking/walking in local parks, or just carry it for the hell of it. The handle, which seems to be FRN, has a neat textured grip on the left side, just jess horns name raised over the handle. The blade shape is interesting, doesn't have the severe upswept blade that is Spydercos trademark, more of a spearpoint style IMHO. The blade is ground a little thin, but the handle feels great, and while I really like thumb ridges, the lack of thumbridges on this knife doesn't hinder it. I haven't used it yet, but it is very slim, very sleek, rides in the pocket well.
In the past couple months, I have lucked into some neat Spydies, including a Dyad Jr with micarta scales, a Wegner Jr, and now this Horn. It has a blade a little over 3", I don't know if Spyderco made any with longer blades. AUS8 steel, made in Japan.
Now if I could only get the pimped out Horns with the stag!
