Spyderco Manix 2 blade steels

I see a 154cm and CTS-BD30P Carpenter Steel sprint run knife... Can someone tell me about the sprint run model? How is the steel and how "sprint" is it, is it worth getting over the 154cm?

Well I just bit the bullet and ordered on from NGK. Never used NGK before. Will post pictures when it gets here.
