Spyderco Manix 2 CTS-XHP

replied to emails, realy only intrested in folders guys please no fix blades I already own a few and dont need another at the moment this knife was going to be an EDC for me so im looking to replace it.
 
ive been looking through the forum for a manix 2 (as you know) and i saw a lot of threads that you started asking questions about the knife. looks like you did your research before you bought it.

i dont mean to thread jack, but what were your thoughts on the XHP steel?

Ya, I did a bit of homework on the knife and its steel befor I made the purchase and to be honest the steel is the only reason I took the risk with the lock. I think this steel will excede s30v over time from what I have read because it is supposed to be like a stainless version of D2. Hope that more knife companies begin to use this on production knives, its just to bad that I dont like the lock on the Manix
