Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight, BD-1,Translucent Blue, Plain Edge " OUTSTANDING"

Is it pinned together to reduce weight? I'm considering trying one however I've never owned a knife I couldn't disassemble. I have my reservations...do you guys think it's not a big deal?
It's rock solid and the way it's put together I doubt you'd ever have to disassemble it.

Yeah, it is strong for sure. The specs are awesome. 3 ounces, strong lock, thin profile, robust blade... And strength isn't sacrificed at all. I cant wait for the S110v version. That's quite an over the top steel, I'd have been happy with CPM154 or even S30v but ok :thumbup:I'm sure theres more planned for it down the road. One cool thing, the LWT Manix and upcoming LWT N5 are US made polymer Spydies. For one, thats good to see and two, it opens up steel options that are not available to Japanese FRN Spydercos.

S110v version??! If it will have the screw together construction then I'm there. This is a very nice knife for the money though my only little gripe on the pinned version is mine developed a tad of horizontal play but it still cuts.:)

sorry should have been more specific mine is the pinned pivot version and is still a great knife regardless of the tad of play. I doubt this is a common thing especially since it uses a torx screw pivot now.

For those that are concerned about the pinned construction.. These do have a torx pivot screw that can be adjusted FYI

Newer ones do -- older ones have a pinned pivot that is not adjustable. I have one of the older ones, but it has never been an issue. The knife is "just right" and there is no need for adjustment on mine.
