I just got a Manix 2 lightweight in the mail today and was wondering if anyone has some info on the cts- bd1 steel. What is it comparable to, do I have to watch for rust?
 
From what I've seen, it has great corrosion resistance. Usually a little on the soft side, easily takes a very sharp edge but doesn't hold it very long.
