The Manix has left the building....

Traded and no longer available.​

I have a Spyderco Manix (Plain Edge) I would like to trade. It has been very lightly carried and is in like new condition. The screws that hold the clip on have a bit of the black paint worn off from carry.

I would like a Benchmade with a blade length of 3 inches or less.

Here are some knives I would prefer:

Benchmade 705
Benchmade 707
Benchmade 960
Benchmade 721
Benchmade 722

I cannot legally carry anything over 3 inches long. So that's why I'm doing this. I just found out today by stopping at the local police station and having a buddy of mine look at the knives I had in my car.

How about BM 551 in D2 or BM 556 in D2 (both PE)?
Both almost new, 551 was sharpened once, 556 only carried. I think I have boxes for both of them. I also have a BM720SBT user. I'll add it to either of the Grips to make up the value. That should make it a very fair deal.

I have a kershaw bump s30v steel, titanium handle blue. Kershaw Boa, blue handle. Both in excellent condition and both have the assist feature. I have a limited edition benchmade mel pardue, black lip m.o.p. handle scales. Various other benchmades, if interested my Email is Lippy@comcast.net I can send pictures. They really are some beautiful knives. I hope you can at least have a look before passing on the deal.
 
I've decided that because I live in the United States of America, that I will carry the knife that I want. I've decided that I will abide by the local law but that I can carry the knife in my car (it's dubbed "being transported"). I've decided that IF (yes a big if) I ever get "in trouble" and they ask to see my "tool" that I will show it to them. If they decide to take it from me then that will be the small price I will have paid to carry a knife that I like.

I am not however the kind of person that looks for trouble. Nor am I a person that uses a knife for self defense. I'm hoping that nobody ever knows that I carry a knife. I will just use my SAK for duties that are around other people that may "get scared" if I whip out a real knife.
