Spyderco Matriarch - Got one? How do you like it? Pros/cons?

Just landed a Civilian, and am looking at a Matriarch. I too seen the pics where the guy had a run-in with Zorro. Apparently a Civilian was used to cut him open real bad. He had that "convict look', my guess is he grabbed onto the wrong boy. The Civilian fits my small hand just fine, but I want a Matriarch for pruning and such. I'm keeping the Civilian sharp. Nice collection of hawkbills you got there! I want that yellow one with the spideredge.

My girlfriend carried a waved matriarch 2 as a SD knife and I believe she usually has a smaller kershaw on her for utility. She carries a lot of my knives but the matriarch is the one I'm not allowed to touch. I think I'm gonna buy my own.

I really like mine. It's very hard to appreciate until you get to put the blade shape on someone. It behaves a little differently than a hawkbill. Very effective blade shape, makes for a mean cutter. Having a trainer helped to realize its potential.
