I got a new knife--Spyderco Matriarch II with Emerson wave.
Actually I said myself that I'm bored with black coating, fancy blades, tantos and stuff. But impulsively bought this one.
Firstly, I wanted to try Endura/Delica handle platform, material and shape. I thought not very favourably about FRN, but now see that it is very solid and tough. Overall the handle is very solid, not flimsy.
Then I'm trying serrations. What a surprise. Sharp as hell. Cuts through branches and other materials easily.
Also this sick `S` shaped blade. Really loving the knife. Emerson wave is also works perfectly; you know, it depends on the knife, for example Emerson Commander was not convenient for me to wave, CQC7 was good in that respect.
One thing I have to get used is a little vertical play. Though I think it should be normal for back lock.
I wonder if Cold Steel Tri-Ad lock on Recon 1 or Voyagers also has this vertical play.
