Hello All,
Today I have a Sage 1 in Maxamet for sale. The knife has been carried and used, though not abused. The blade itself shows some light brown staining, or patina forming (not rust) on the primary grind, though it has resisted such formation extremely well from the Taichung heat-treatment of Maxamet (please note that this is nearly imperceptible within the photos). There is a small spec of rust, or possible pit just above the "SPYDERCO" script, nearest the plunge grind. The edge has been sharpened a number of times and is currently sharp with a fresh edge. The G-10 scales have some light bluing from dye whilst being carried in the pocket wearing blue jeans. Lock-up is nearly perfect at ~50%. Centering is spot on. A light coat of mineral oil has been applied to the blade/pivot. Includes original box and paperwork.
Pricing listed is postage paid, which includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail. First to comment "I'll take it", along with a PM expressing interest will get a reserve on said knife. Payment must be made via Paypal F&F; if you wish to pay via Paypal G&S, add $5 to listed price and express so in your PM. All payment details will be expressed via PM. Buyer must be willing to commit to making a payment within 24 hours, or the knife will pass on to any additional persons of interest. Knives will be shipped no later than 48 hours after payment has been received. Shipping to residents of the USA only at this time. No interest in trades.
