Bummer. I was thinking that I would want one of these, too. Until I saw AUS-6. Yeah, I know that it can be a great steel, and I'm sure that Spyderco will get the best out of it. But....Hmmm.... heck, ya know, it can't all be about the steel.

Anyway, though, I'd REALLY like to see that Mini-Mil from "another" thread....

Ferret fanciers wanting to branch out should note that meerkats are burrowing critters that make big holes in carpets and drywall, and they eat fingers. The Spyderco Meerkat, on the other hand, comes already housebroken, and the way you close it makes it even less likely than most other folders to eat fingers.

colors...

I'd like to see a midnight blue, maroon, or a forest green.. I like darker colors myself.

YES!!! I like any of those rich subtle colors -- burgundy, midnight blue, forest green... Sure. Bring 'em on.

I'll definitely buy that in some nice color. Great christmas present for ...?

I'd like to see the Vesuvius handle on some nice smooth elegant knife like a Calypso Jr or Viele or even a Native, but this sculpted handle calls more for a subtle solid color.

black- please for me i have been wanting a large model of the cricket and the price sounds great btw i have found that the sharpmaker can sharpen chainsaw blades using the triangular shape- great tool you have designed - i carry it in my work bag
