Spyderco Mid-Year models...

It should be to scale. I just realized that myself too a week ago & cut out the Spydiechef to try and get a better feel for the size in hand. Didn't work to well though.:D

Haha, you need like 40 catalogs so you can stack the cutouts and contour them to proper width!

I really wish the Ouroboros was cheaper. I really like the design, but black g10 and vg10 for that price seems kinda nuts.

I agree, it is an interesting model, but I'll most likely pass at that price... In my mind the Sage 5 is much more knife than the Ouroboros, both in size and materials, so the Ouroboros "should" cost much less than the Sage 5's $131 on my value-for-money gauge. I understand manufacturing costs in Japan is to blame, it is what it is.

Sage 5: $131.97
Rubicon 2: $209.97
Ouroboros: $167.97
Rhino: $47.97
SpydieChef: $191.97
Magnitude: $281.97
Advocate: $221.97
EuroEdge: $221.97
Jumpmaster 2: $149.97
Sustain: $179.97
Junction: $179.97

in 6 months... "Honey, let me explain..."

I like the looks of the Advocate, but I already have some Titanium slab frame locks that I like and feel it would be redundant. I never bought a Rubicon because the blade was too short and the handle too thick, the Magnitude fixed both of these complaints for me with a longer blade and thinner handle. I like the blade shape a bit more too. Decisions, decisions.
