Here is some history on the Military and Police:
The Military was bought new by me about two to three years ago. It is engraved on the blade with "Spyderco MILITARY CPM440V Golden, Colorado USA". I have used it to slice meat for jerky, and that is all I can recall using it for. It did an awesome job slicing the meat into thin strips. I have carried it in my fanny pack on some hunting trips as a back up, but it is too big for my EDC rotation, and has not been carried otherwise. It doesn not have a "factory edge" as I have had to lightly sharpen it.
The Police was bought new by me about two to three years ago and has not been carried. It has spent its life in my roll-up carry case with my other collectables. It is the G-10 model with a fully serrated, flat-ground blade. "POLICE" is engraved in the side of the blade. It has been handled but not used and I have the original box for it. It still has the factory edge. I do not know how to post pics, but can email upon request.
