Hello everybody, I have a question about whether I'm getting a good deal or not. A local store has the Spyderco Military C36GPSBK , it has a black g10 handle , black blade , and it's a combo edge. The guy wants $129 , and from what I've researched it's seems like a good price seeing that wherever I've found it online says its discontinued or they don't have it in stock. Here it is for reference http://www.knifecenter.com/item/SP3...nife-s30v-black-combo-blade-black-g10-handles

I see this is your first post. Welcome to BF! I am also pretty new around here. Just a heads up, I think this thread is against the rules. Read the sticky thread up near the top titled something like "what is my knife worth". While I'm sure you're not attempting to do what they're trying to prevent, you may get warned about it. You may want to edit your post to adhere to the rules.

If you want the combo edge, that is a decent price. A plain edged Military can be had online for not a lot more, so it comes down to which style edge you prefer.

I don't think it is under those guidelines because he was asking if $129 was a good price. Not how much his knife was worth per say. I think you could find a better deal here but if you like the one you held or that dealer then yes, go for it! Great knife! I have 2.

Are you talking used or new? If its used, i think you can get a new one for not much more.

$130 new is about standard, maybe even a little cheap for a blacked out version.

What is my knife worth?

(Thumbs up to Alfazulu, tho only one to get it right.)
