Spyderco Military Fluted Titanium RIL (C36TIFP)

I've never been a big fan of the fluted Ti, just don't care for the aesthetics that much. But the fluted Ti is contoured as compared to the regular Ti slabs? True? If that's the case I love to have a fluted Ti sanded smooth. That would be cool.
