Spyderco Military - G10 or Titanium Scales?

I'm different. Sometimes they call me "different cutter". I'm different because I would never buy a Military because of it's light weight. See, told you I was different. But when the 5.8 ounce titanium version came along, I had no excuse, so I bought it. I love it. It has a nice heft to it and is really solid in my hand. I have not handled a G-10 Military to be able to tell a difference, but I know that I like the one I have, because it still has that flat ground blade and needle sharp tip that come in handy with my cutting chores. My intention is to get one of the fluted versions, but whether I'll carry or not, will just have to wait. I am planning to do to my Military what I did to my Cold Steel Pocket Bushman, and that is to place some of the black 3M Stair Step, stuff I cover my pocket clips with, on the titanium handles. It worked really well on the Bushman. Only bad side might be that continually use without a stop could maybe raise some blisters on the hand. But in normal day to day cutting I don't face that problem.

It took me a long time to figure out this Spyderco thing, but with 5 Spyderco's in the past 6-7 months I am beginning to understand!!

How about --- both!?! The Ti/G10 M4 Military was one of the best Spyderco's I ever held and why they don't produce another is beyond me. Alas, my ADHD kicked in an I sold it to fund something else. One of life's little regrets...

Between the two, I'd go Ti unless you have real problem with the extra weight. It's a real handful Spyderco goodness.

Holding out on the military because I heard the 2nd generation will be out soon. correct me if im wrong.
