I've noticed a lot of M390 Millies FS/FT which is great! But, has anyone actually USED theirs yet? I want to, but I'm having a hard time kicking my blue PM2 in M390 out of my pocket!

BTW, the Spyderco M390 is my favorite steel thus far. Takes a really fine edge and cuts for a long time.

Nobody used theirs. Just a bunch of greedy people trying to flip them to make a buck at the expense of us
 
I use a PM2 M390. Similiar and holds up well

I have used mine like a beast. Plastic cases, Hard plastics (dumb idea I have small rolling from the end that you could only see if you use a mag to look) 550, cardboard, paper (not slicing test but actually cutting), just cut sand paper to sand down some G10, A can of arizona ices tea in half to see if I could, Used it as a hammer (closed you can use the heavy part of the G10 to drive in bolts) I have used it as a pry bar sadly but it did not get affected (just some cans) I have used it as a wedge pulling a bolt out and got a small chip (insignificant) Still sharp and hair shaving sharp!

Mine hasn't left my pocket for more than a day since I received it...Use it for everything that has come up...heavy cardboard extremely hard plastic <(sliced through it like it was hot butter) wood ect ect the edge has held up real well with no real deep scratches...was even feeling nostalgic the other day and tried rollerblading...fell rite on my face and scratched up the clip pretty good which I see as a good thing because now I feel like its really mine...ill try to post more recent pics tomorrow but here it is the day I got it next to my well loved xhp version

Haven't used mine either for the same reason, the blue Para2! The Millie is a bit large for EDC for me so unless I'm out in the woods it's the Para2. My 390 Millie will probably be a safe queen since I have a brown XHP and a standard one that have already seen use. 390 is my favorite steel also.
 
You guys are wasting your time with those knives, get a tilt ;) :D
I start back at work at my plant nursery for the first time since dec tomorrow and believe me these two will get put through their paces and then some. No safe queens for me:P

Sorry, too busy still using my CPM M4 Millie :D

Wish I had an M390 to compare with, though.

Mine hasn't been used for anything more than what people have claimed here, but it has flown across my driveway several times as I jump out of my car. (I always forget..if it's not in my hand, it's in my lap)
CF takes a beating and shows very little damage.
 
Cut open endless evergreens today at nursery that came in frome Oregon tied up in 2ply and 1ply twine

Haha that's how I got my 5. I didn't have a single pre order. I got mine at good prices though.

It does seem like maybe 50% of the people that got them, sold them. At a profit.

ETA: I was addressing the "don't use them" part anyway. The scalping part is totally true!

I'm glad you use yours! I was so close to picking one up from the exchange today. It sold for $235 (excellent price if I may say so), but I really can't spend anymore money on knives right now. Especially since I just put myself on a preorder for an 0560.
 
A FREAKING MEN. I'm glad I'm not the only one who said it. I called them douchbags. Luckily, I got one of the 15 knifeworks released, plus someone who said that if he didn't like his he would sell it to me.

Oh, and I have to many new knives and just haven't had time to put this one in my rotation yet. Right now I am carrying my Para 2 Smurf M390 and a ZT 350CBZDP

Pretty much. I might buy one if I see a good deal on it and add it to my rotation. Only 'pretty' knives get to be safe queens. Sebenzas get used!
