Spyderco Military vs. Spyderco Pattada

I just picked up a pattada on the forums for a great deal. I've been wanting one since I saw it and I'm pretty excited about it. To me, it seems better than the military for a number of reasons. Mainly that the clip is tip up carry, but also the closed width on the pattada is a HUGE plus. I love all 25-30 of my spyderco knives, but the width of a lot of them means that they see zero pocket time.

I was hoping Spyderco would add a Pattada style knife to the Ethnic Series for a while. It was exciting to see this one announced. I bought one as soon as they were released, and ive been happy with it since. It makes a beautiful gent's alternative to the Military.

It is also my first Italian made knife, and I'm really impressed with the job Fox Cutlery did on this model. Very good F&F, smooth pivot, and practical.

Recessed liners and tip-down clip option and I'd already own one of these!

Anybody done a tip-down clip reconfiguration on a Patada?
Would love to see some pic's or links to any threads ...

RamZar,
Great thread post, thanks!
Any chance we could get one more comparison pic with that Millie (open, lock-side up, tips even)?

I have an extra TUFF clip, and thinking maybe I need to revisit a tip-down option on the Patada ...
