i totally missed out on this one.

can anybody tell me how much they are nowadays ?

can they still be bought somewhere ?

sigh....
thanks for info

The secondary market (eBay, For Sale forum here, etc.) is pretty much your only hope. I've seen them go as high as $200, which is well over the original MSRP.

I've seen a few go for over $250, and one recently that sold for $175. They're hard to come by, so if you see one around, I would just pick it up. Good luck in your search.

I got one of ebay for 188 a couple of weeks ago. Its my absolute favorite knife and worth every penny.

I wouldn't hold my breath
IIRC, the CPM D2 batch Spyderco got was the last one... :grumpy:

I got one when they hit the dealers. Why I didn't buy at least six of them when I had the chance is one of those things that will always haunt me:(

I bought mine as soon as they came out for $118 (same price as the S30V version when released) after testing a pre production piece and being very impressed with the knife and especially the steel. My CPM D2 Milli tested at 62 RC, which explains a lot to me as far as why it's edge retention, ease of sharpening, and ultimate sharpness has been better than S30V for me.

At the price they're going for, it might be better to pay a little more to get one of the S90V versions...? YMMV.

They are great knives, I picked one up in Golden. Did not realize they were that rare.

At 1200 made they aren't really rare, (compared to some other runs of the same number) just everybody loves them and they hoard/keep them.

i got the para and mili together from ebay for 100 for p and 150 for m. i really only wanted the para but for that price it is not too bad. also they were nib flawless (which was a big issue for me) all you have to do is check regularly. i saw a buy it now for the mili for 145 but it was gone within 30 hours. just keep looking. but do it soon as mentioned above the longer you wait the more the price goes up

Gee, I think I paid $120 from Knifeworks when they first came out. Didn't realize they were "rare", but I wouldn't part with mine ~;-)
