I own several Spydercos...Endura, Delica, Police Model and a couple other but this one I simply cannot remember the model name. It is not one of the new Salt knives.

Blade is marked AUS 8A Stainless under the Spyderco name and Seki City Japan on the back. Blade is 4 3/4" (approximately), 10 1/2 overall open and has molded pocket clip. I have owned it in excess of 15 years I think.

Thanks for your help

Spyderco made them in Yellow and Black. They came with two blade configurations, the fully serrated one and one that had serrations only for the first inch or so.

That was it...lol...just couldn't remember, getting that oldtimers thing going on. Thanks all...

I think the Yellow ones are bit rarer; what steel does it have? (usually letters stamped on blade near pivot if you don't know). :)

i have AUS8A on my yellow one, i think they came in 2 different steels., depending on the date of manufacture.

Isn't the model name contained in the circular logo on the handle? Or is that only a feature of more modern Spydies?

Ray :)

The later Catcherman with MBS-26 steel has full flat grind - at least mine does have.
Yep, the yellow Catcherman is a rare bird nowadays.
