Spyderco most Collectible knives?

Wow, a blast from the past. Here is my one spydie limited edition, a Caly 3. Don't think it is collectible, but I like it.

I have the same knife, and love it. It is the knife I use when dressing up to go to a social function. I call it my poor man's William Henry although in retrospect, it wasn't much less than some William Henry's that I've seen.

The only spyderco I own is a Manix 2 in CPM-M4 and I use the hell out of it. Has a natural patina and spots from where I removed rust and I don't mind one bit.

I'm going in the opposite direction. I have a Strider, Warren Thomas, Allen Elishewitz and a Brad Duncan. The only one I used with any regularity was the Strider. What attracts me to Spyderco are the variety of designs, price point and from what I have read, superior construction.

My goal in collecting is not to make a profit should I decide to sell. If I sell a piece it would be nice if I made a profit, but that to me is not collecting.......its speculating. To me collecting is appreciating the knife for everything it is. The way its constructed, the way it feels in your hand, its eye appeal which is individualistic and its functionality. Making a profit SHOULD is not something I consider when buying a knife....Custom, Mid-Tech or Mfg.
