The new steel will be CTS-204P. Im glad to know that because i missed the M390 mule and they are almost identic. Maybe the MT15 will be K390 (i hope :D)
Mules are no good for my budget :(

I ordered the para2 in 204p thats carpenters version of m390 correct? when does the mule go for sale in that steel? I got my elmax in and love it.

Considering that they just released the ELMAX mule, I'm betting that it will be a couple of months - the production schedule at Golden has to be in overdrive with all the sprints and new production models...

That's great news. I also missed out on the M390 so I'm looking forward to this one as well.

I don't think they make this steel anymore. I could be wrong but I'm sure it is discontinued.

A popular place for blade steel had a supply a few weeks ago. It was incredibly expensive and the thickness they roll it at wouldn't be conducive for a mule.

how about cpm rex 76 or rex 121, they look interesting as well?

I'm guessing a rex 76 or 121 production mule would be very very expensive. They would lose money if they put at a price level that "most" would spend. JMHO

I hope the next mule wouldn't be an extreme wear resistant knife but be a platform to test the brand new perfect allround blade steel: cpm 4v
