Spyderco Native??

I picked a Native up thinking it was going to replace my Endura in both feel, funtion, and steel. Sadly I was wrong. I hated the way it felt in my hand. While the slim profile did fit better in my pocket, it did not fit my large hands well.

It did not fit my small hands eather. I did not manage how to hold it.

Thanks, Vassili.

I have a Native in S30V.
Personaly I think the Delica is more versatile in the hand though the Natives deep choil affords a great forward grip.

I am looking to get a native fairly soon, I think I will go for the s30v b/c i want some s30v, and i dont mind other flat knives. I also like the blade a little better (the swedge).

Great knife ( Native III). Best ergos in the business. I especially like the little swells at the end of the handle to make extraction from the pocket easier. Great value for the money.

:D My Native III (VG10) and Paramilitary arrived today. I love both knives. The Native is extremely sharp right out of the box. The paramilitary is sharp, but the Native is one notch above on the sharpness meter. Now, I just need a Mannix and a Ritter Grip to satisfy my needs (read: wants).

I bet once you have all 4 you'll find you EDC the Ritter Grip the most. :) Let us know which one you choose for your main EDC.

I have to echo the positive comments on the Native III. I think the ergos are among the best, and VG10 is one of my favorite steels. Very easy to get scary sharp, and holds it a long time.

My sister was looking for a light knife to clip on while running, so I recommended this knife to her. Once you hold it, you understand why even though it's not a large knife, it's pretty good for SD. No one will ever pull this out of your hand once you're gripping it.
