Last night while at Wally World I scanned the knife section and asked to handle the Native. It felt much nicer in the hand than I imagined. I was very tempted to get it, but am strapped for cash at the moment. The price was around $42 as I'm sure most of you know.

Should I have gotten it? I don't have many Spyderco's except for a couple Mules and a stainless Endura made in Japan.

I don't know much about the Endura or where I found it. The clip is missing and has a sheep's foot point.

Go for it! The Native is one of the most useful knives that I own. Feels great and cuts great. What's not to like?

You should definitely get it for $42. Besides, Walmart is going to stop carrying the Native I soon, so get it while you can. Even eBay can't usually beat Walmart's price on the Native.

Native is a very good knife, excellent steel, great ergos.
$42 is a very good price for Native, Wall-Mart will not carry them anymore.
I use it for two years and still like it.
So i would grab it fast.

I'm headed to Wal-mart to buy my 3rd Native from there now. My son and stepson have the first two, one for boyscouts, the other for EDC at work. Great knife!

I got it last night. I'm not sure if this will replace my Benchmade Mini Grip as it's a bit larger, but it sure is sharp!

best bargain out there! It's a Spyderco, made in USA, blade steel CPM-S30V, best bargain out there......

Buy it, the Native is one of my favorite Spyderco' s. And seeing that it is only 42$...''Great Bang for the Buck''
