Spyderco: Para 2 or the Caly 3 CF?

I have the Caly 3 and Para 2 and I use the Caly 3 more because I think it carries better in an office/city environment. Both are nice, though.

I don't see a problem with Japan made. Its a premium feature tbh. They're a step up on the us made ones in fit and finish imo. Also back to the op. The 3.5 seems like a better comparison to the para2. The zdp and c.f. version is a real step up over the para2.

You are right. I originally meant the 3.5 but miss read the specs on BHQ. I thought the "Caly 3" was either 3" or 3.5".
And about the Japanese made knives...I agree. Almost all of my chef knives, which I use daily at work, are Japanese. It's just I would like to own a few US made knives. I don't have that many things that are. And it would turn me on to know I have some blades that are totally crafted here in my first homeland.

Both are good knives. but to cut boxes I prefer Native5. The knife is compact and has fantastic ergos. I also carry Caly3.5, but VG10 variant.

The Native 5 ergos are great when cutting cardboard.
The odd thing is I can't get a comfortable grip on one unless I'm cutting something
