I am the second owner of this Para 3 with Maxamet blade and gray G10 scales. The blade has the original factory edge that now needs sharpening. I can feel some abrasion on the edge and see some tiny chipping, and there is some patina forming and a few little spots that look like corrosion. I intended to send it to Spyderco for their free sharpening service and never got around to it. This Para 3 is built like a tank and the action and centering is excellent with solid lockup and no blade play. Knife only, no box. —> sold
