Spyderco Para-Military or the Benchmade Ritter Griptillian

The 'Military' model in CPM S30V gets the nod. It is easily one of the best folders on the market, combining superb cutting/slicing with light weight. The steel holds a wicked edge and is simple to keep as keen as a razor. The blade length is just about perfect for most chores that should occupy a folder's life.

I'm not quite sure how you arrived at this conclusion, but just to clear up your misconception, all S30V is Crucible CPM process steel. Nobody else makes S30V that I am aware of. The RSK Mk1 is CPM S30V by Crucible. And, I find my "connections" with Crucible seem to be just fine, thank you.

NOTE that there are a few steels that are available in both non-CPM and CPM, but S30V isn't one of them.

Hey Critter, sorry for having the wrong info, I'll edit that out. I thought I had heard that from somewhere, I guess it was something else. Just so ya know, I love your knife :o. I'm glad you chimed in and corrected me on that. I feel like a dumba$$ now, some guy that I had talked to that owns a surplus shop kept drilling that into me last summer when we talked a lot so I figured it was true.

How many? What kind of cardboard? I have a really hard time beliving that whatsoever . Also, You cant go wrong with either, just two different knifes .

I've had a full-size Grip in 154CM, and recently bought a Para-Military from BJE on this forum.

For my money - Para, no question.
