Thread closed. Repost possibly later.
Well, let's make some use of the paid membership for once.
Conditions: These are for sale in the EU area only. The knives will be sold and shipped only to locations where legal to own and postal regulations allow. 18+ only and I expect you to understand all local laws and conditions before purchasing. Prices are in Euros, all in, including insured priority shipping where available. For payments, either PayPal or bank transfer with IBAN and BIC codes in the SEPA zone. I reserve the right to sell to whomever, wherever and however I see best fit. Any questions about the knives or shipping, just ask.
1. Spyderco Paramilitary 2 with carbon fibre handles and S90V blade steel
Really a very nice folder but I cant see myself using it much. A little too much of a collectible for my taste. Highly anticipated Sprint Run (of 700 pieces I think?) that pretty much sold out even before it was released; I got mine by dumb luck alone so its not exactly any kind of Grail for me.
Not used, carried or sharpened. I gave it a few light passes on a strop when it arrived to remove any burr that may have been there but thats all. Very nice and sharp, good centering, no blade play issues, lockup is fine. Havent touched the clip or pivot. With box and papers.
Notice the single erratic machining or grinding mark going across the Golden, Colorado, USA, Earth marking on the tang. Personally I think nothing of it but best to mention it anyway. Tiny flaw or unique identifying mark, you decide.
Price is xxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Important note on shipping: Being a folding knife, there are some countries to which our postal service will simply not accept it for transport. Such countries include, but may not be limited to, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. Sorry about that, I do find that policy to be misinformed, incorrect and unjust but as it is, they are standing firm behind it, no use reasoning with them.
2. Bradley Mayhem, plain edge, grey titanium handles, S30V blade steel *Withdrawn, I might just keep it after all*
Ive had this for about a month, really quite nice but Im just not digging the open construction as much as I thought I would. Use has been limited to practising some basic opening and closing moves, which is about the limit of my skills. No cutting chores performed, not carried and not sharpened. With box and papers.
It does have some amount of scuffing, a few light scratches and handling wear on the handles, that seems to be the inherent nature of the beadblasted titanium material. Also, as for criticism, the handle section that holds the pocket clip is a little lighter shade of grey than the rest. The knife arrived this way and my guess is simply that the sections are done in batches at the factory, so they are not entirely uniform.
A few light marks on the blade, I have adjusted the pivot screws so that the blade cant touch the handles but the scrapes near the tip (see pic) appeared on the first opening, as the knife arrived with very loose pivots. They are not deep, just scuffs on the blade finish but again, best to mention it.
Price is withdrawn for now.
