Spyderco Paramilitary 2 vs Manix 2?

Out of the S30v G10 models, I'd keep the PM2. The solid liner Manix balance doesn't do it for me. However, as a platform, the Manix is usually my preference.

Solid love to the Manix and I have 4,..............however...............

Then I got my first Paramilitary, and didn't carry the Manix lineup any longer. Now they sit in storage as the Para 2 sits slimmer in the pocket, with better egos for my hand, a lock that doesn't rely on a tiny spring (I still love the cbbl), and is lightweight to begin with. Now I've been converted fully to the Para, and only occasionally carry the Manix.

According to a test run by BladeHQ ...... The locking mechanism on the "Manix 2" is over twice as strong as the locking mechanism on the "Paramilitary 2".

Here is a link to the video.

Lock strength I think belongs in the "theory but not in practice" thread. Trying to think of the scenario where you'll be putting over a thousand pounds of force on the back of the knife pivot. I don't have any. Design and ease of use Trump's the strength when it comes to lock.
