Your best bet is to just keep on the lookout for them. When they show up at a dealer they wont last long. There were two threads here yesterday about Blade HQ having a handful in stock, but I believe they're all gone now... you've got to be quick!

Are they worth the money?
Depends. I don't think a regular s30V is worth over 200 but the demand drove the prices through the roof.

I have tried a ton of blades in the last 10 months...and I have come back to the PM2 several times. My M390 PM2 is my main carry and though expensive (almost $300) I had to have one. It kills me I sold the few M390 Pm2's I bought from Bento for $189...then had to pay the inflated $, but...to me the design is near perfect for my everyday use.

Sorry I missed your "are they worth the money" question. Are they worth their normal, non-inflated street price? Yes with out a doubt. Are they worth the inflated "I can charge it cause people will pay it" prices? No. Not while there are so many outstanding alternatives for less money.

Keep in mind that Golden has been working very, very hard to catch up with demand on the PM2. It is starting to become more and more common to see batches of PM2s up on the web sites of well known (and trusted) vendors for sale at non inflated prices.

Worth is always a tough thing to define, but in it's normal configuration I consider a PM2 to be a good value up to about $200. With the secondary you overpay for sure and as someone whose sold many PM2's on the secondary I cant figure out why. Some have mentioned that people that sell like I have feel they can but I've started the great majority of my auctions at .99 cents and simply watch as people duke it out into the 300+ range. I dont think its a knife you'd ever be disappointed in for its price but I also don't think it's the knife people make it out to be. It's great but not perfect.

I absolutely love my black/satin PM2. I've been carrying it about 90% of the time for about a year. I got lucky and found mine for $97 last year. I definitely think it's worth the price. I also picked up a digicam/satin one a few weeks back for $119 that's still NIB, just because it was available.

edit: Keep checking BladeHQ. I just got luck one day.

Thanks is that warrior place good or nevever heard of them

They are very good they ship out fast and they reply to any questions really quick i have ordered several knives and a flashlight from them so far. For the most part their prices are on par with alot of other retailers the only difference is its based in vancouver so being in canada shipping has only taken a couple days and ive heard US isnt much longer

I found one a couple of days ago on national knives com and I just got it in today , and it was only $107 which Is amazing considering every one else jacked up the price

Simple law of supply and demand. When the demand is higher than the supply, prices are always going to move upwards. Keep in mind, this forum is mainly intended to provide feedback on deals/transactions with stores and individuals. We would appreciate any deal spotting (such as XYZ stores has it in stock!) type of threads be kept out of the discussion forums though.

Keep your eye's out for one in the exchange. I picked one up a few days ago for $111 shipped.

Well I got one the other day online, they went fast too soon as I placed my order poof they were gone.Thankx for the replies

Patience and persistence. Also, an open mind as your first may not be the color combination you want. People seem to be selling them at a fair price on the exchange lately.
