We're lucky around here that our knife laws are fairly relaxed. Generally speaking, we can carry what we want. That said, if I were headed somewhere with lock restrictions or just wanted a well made, super light weight, slip-joint knife the new Spyderco Knives PITS would be my first stop.

This utilitarian gentleman's knife features a drilled out, full titanium handle allowing the PITS knife to weigh in at just over 3oz. The handle includes the user assisted heavy back spring that allows the blade to be "locked" open with the users grip. It feels very secure even without having to exert much force on the spring.

The sub-3" clip point blade is made of N690Co, a fine grained Chromoly alloy with Vanadium added giving it edge retention similar to VG-10 or 154cm. The blade will take a very fine edge and is relatively easy to sharpen.

Overall the PITS is another fine, Italian-made Spyderco that is ready to accompany you on your adventures at home or abroad!

Definately looking forward to putting it through its paces up in the highlands. Finally something I can legally carry that is not a compromise but rather a worthy alternative instead.
