SPYDERCO PM2 Blue/Purple G-10 VS BENCHMADE 951-1GREY G1020CV Super-Steel

such a weird out of left field question, but I'll bite...
best advice (imho) = go to a knife shop that stocks both, hold both, imagine yourself using both for your typical daily things...
buy what you like, both are good quality and will take care of any issues if you're unlucky

(ps) don't be afraid to use less caps in your title :)

This. I tend to tune out when I see all caps.
As for the question, just to be a little more useful, PM2. Don't like axis locks, like Compression locks, easy pick for me.

ME TOO! :D

I agree with myowngod myowngod to buy both. 2 is one, and 1 is none.

I agree with D dirc in that if there is a knife shop close by, go take a look at them.

I have both, S110V will hold it's edge longer, but take longer to sharpen, I prefer the PM2 to the Griptilian, but the G10 is definitely nicer feeling than the FRN Griptilian, won't be selling either anytime soon.

Can't go wrong with either make. It's up to you. However, unless you have diamond sharpening stones I'd pass on any super-steels for a EDC user. With enough use any blade steel will go dull. I'd rather have sharp 420 than dull s110v. I'd get a mid-range steel and buy a nice whetstone, diamond plate, or a full sharpening kit as well.

Personally I like the PM2 better.
