Yes, it's even. I've had uneven edges on knives before but this is a really nice example.

Any blade play in any direction? Sorry for all of the questions, I just know Benchmade's QC is garbage sometimes.

I hear you. I was quite impressed with this one in spite of the discussions I've seen regarding BM QC. I'm at work so I can't look at it but I don't recall any blade play at all. It has a great firm feeling while at the same time being extremely smooth. I can pull it out later tonight when I get home from work and try to get a video of it.
