Spyderco Polestar

So I've been watching some SHOT Show coverage on Youtube, and I saw that Spyderco are going to have a new knife called the Polestar. Has anyone been to the show and handled the thing? I'm thinking about getting it as my first Spyderco knife when it comes out because I like the look of it a lot more than the Tenascious. (and the extra 15 bucks for the new G-10 seems worth it to me, also color is better) After that if I like the Spydie hole I might get a PM2...

This knife has perked my interest as well. The Tenacious is still one of my most carried knives, despite so many other options. The Polestar seems to me to be a refined version with a better blade steel in BD1. While I think 8cr gets a bad rap for being a Chinese steel, I happen to like BD1 for its fine grain structure and ability to take a fine thin edge. I don't think it's any more wear resistant than 8cr but wear resistance is not really a concern of mine. Bang for the buck the new Polestar seems to be hard to beat but we'll have to see when some people can get their hands on one.
