I was watching, "Training Day", last week, when I spotted the Spyderco Police in stainless steel and serated blade. It's at the point when Densel Washington helps his partner with the two thugs in the alley who were trying to rape the young girl. Densel pulls the Spyderco and points it in the thug's face.

Think I spotted one in "Fight Club" when the cops are trying to rubberband Ed Norton's nuts.

I also think I saw one in season 3 of "Dexter", where Miguel Prado's brother is trying to intimidate someone. Could have been another model, a while since I saw it.

speaking of Denzel and knives.. which one did he use to cut off those dudes fingers in "Man on fire"?

The Police has been in many movies, maybe more than any other Spyderco. Besides the above-mentioned Training Day and Fight Club, I've also seen it in:

Needful Things
Strange Days (maybe)
Jennifer 8
The Avengers (possibly older G-10 version)
The Client
Eraser

There's probably more, but that's all the movies I can think of now.

In addition, I've seen it in TV shows:

NCIS
Cops
Murder She Wrote(?)

This is the "Dexter" scene.

And it looks like a Pacific Salt (black FRN) because of the oversized Spydiehole.

Charlie Crews in Life used a partially serrated SS police aswell, I saw it in 2 or 3 episodes where he was using it to eat fruit and cutting a wire.

5.56: Ah, yes thats very clear in that screenshot, thanks. I definitely knew it was a spydie when I watched it.

In "Exposure", (w/ Peter Coyote- circa 1991- Excellent "knife movie" btw) one of the BGs uses a SS Police in a murder.

That’s impossible. Stephen Kings “Needful Things” After reading the book, all 1000+ pages of it I scoured the city for a copy of this VHS Tape. One place had it. A crappy supermarket in the seedy underbelly of my town. I eagerly watched it. Only to find the worst adaptation of any Stephen King novel EVER. That says a lot because there have been some directors destroy his work on screen.

The issue at hand was I was under the impression I was the ONLY and I mean ONLY one to watch this thing from beginning to end. Well………. I guess you are as sick a King fan as me or just plain sick. I’m not alone, I’m not alone!:)

I saw it at the time it came out. Yeah, I am kind of a sucker for Stephen King adaptations...or at least I was. Back then I used to always go to the movies and saw every type of movie, if it even looked remotely interesting.

IMO, only some of the Stephen King movie adaptations were good. I thought Carrie was actually better than the book, and Stand By Me was better than the short story, The Body. The Green Mile was probably good (never saw it). The Salem's Lot TV adaptation from 1979 was okay, as was Christine. The rest were poor. His stuff doesn't always transfer well onto the big/small screen.

OK, sorry. Back on-topic! :) The brief appearance of the Police was probably the only thing decent in the Needful Things movie.
